ABOUT ME
My name is Monica Lackman and I'm the Creative Director/ Marketing Coordinator for Royal Bhaktapur. Writing is literally my life, because part of my job is to be a writer, but I also live to write. So I'm glad it gets to be a part of my work. I'm a serious bookworm, and chew through at least a hundred pages of research articles and pleasure reading every week. And did I mention coffee? My favorite roast is Feminino Peruvian, especially when it's Fair Trade Certified.
A few years ago, I would've looked at a Pashmina and thought "Oh, what a pretty scarf to keep me warm in the winter!" But a few years of experience with Pashminas since then have taught me that Pashminas are so much more than a scarf, and they can do alot more than keep you warm in winter. I'm actually starting to wonder why more people don't realize just how amazing Pashminas really are. It almost seems to be a fashion secret that's kept in a sad closet of oblivion.
